We’ve begun work on three Prouvé inspired doors for a restaurant in Tribeca. The doors are covered in Zinc and hand hammered along the edges. We’ll be inserting “portholes” in the doors that will then have textured amber glass inserted. The Lower half of the doors are covered in reclaimed Red Oak that have received three coats of hand brushed shellac. The hand brushing creates a subtle but noticeable depth, each of the 400 boards that we coated for the whole project are unique and must be treated as such.
