We were approached by a client to create a life size kinetic ball sculpture to represent the blood and iron-in-blood flow in the body. The heart and liver were powder coated with different hues to showcase their position. All metal rods were hand bent and welded over a couple of months. There are two different routes the balls can take : the red glass balls (blood) are slightly larger and take a path through the heart and roll down through the left leg whereas the steel balls (iron-in-blood) take a path through the liver and down the right leg. All the balls go under the housing platform and get re-circulated up through a chain lift.
